Recon Representative

Career Description
As a Recon Rep with The Logistics Firm, you're stepping into the perfect entry level position to learn the industry. Once mastered, you may very well have the chance to move into a carrier sales role or beyond. You will be calling on potential new clients for TLF, utilizing our state of the art customer relationship management system. Your focus will be calling and emailing provided businesses to obtain key information to start their journey towards working with TLF. You will send material about TLF and follow up to either close them as a client, or to schedule a follow up meeting with your Account Manager.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-You will be contacting new potential clients for TLF, obtaining all the information our Account Managers need to bring them on as clients.
- You will schedule phone appointments for our Account Managers
- You will take diligent notes in our system, schedule follow ups, etc.
- You will send initial contact emails as well as follow up emails
- This is heavy phone and computer work
Candidates Must:
-Be a team player
-Have outstanding phone and computer skills
-Be able to thrive in a fast paced, and oftentimes stressful environment
-Be able to keep a cool head and multitask under pressure
-Have the undying passion to be successful
Sales experience is a huge plus. Logistics experience is not required. We will train the right candidates.
Compensation:
This position is W2'd with hourly pay plus commissions.

Carrier Sales Representative

Career Description
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for booking outside carriers for our brokered client freight loads. You will take incoming calls from our marketing efforts, as well as make outbound calls and emails to our carrier base to present, negotiate, and contract carriers to transport our client's loads safely and efficiently, while maximizing TLF's profit on each load.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Negotiating and selling shipments to our ever expanding carrier base
-Communicating in transit updated effectively to our sales reps and/or clients
-Sending assigned carriers all of the necessary documentation and instructions to perform a flawless transport of our clients' freight
-Communicating all information effectively to the rest of the TLF team so they can, in turn, relay the information to our clients
Candidates Must:
-Be a team player
-Have outstanding phone and computer skills
-Be able to thrive in a fast paced, and oftentimes stressful environment

Marketing Specialist

As a Marketing Specialist with TLF, you will be researching rates, posting available loads to our systems and monitoring the market. This is a heavy data entry position. The perfect candidate will be an absolute ace with programs such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Staying up to date on available loads from our clients
- Pricing loads accordingly using our systems
- Adding available loads to our systems
- Keeping tabs on the market to help in pricing loads
- In your free time, you will call our carrier base to present available loads, negotiate price and contract them to transport loads for our clients
Candidates must:
- Be a team player
- Have phenomenal computer skills and their own reliable computer
- Have a reliable high speed internet connection
- Have great phone skills
- Have the undying passion to be a success
- Logistics Experience NOT Required
Compensation:
This position is W2'd with hourly pay plus commissions.
